Sailing a beautiful high-altitude (8,601 ft elevation) Colorado mountain lake in my 2010 Precision 18 trailer sailer, s/v "Mandatory Fun." Winds were pretty heavy, so I double-reefed the mainsail. The insurance we went through probably 15 different insurance agencies looking for someone who would insure the crossing for the Atlantic, insure the boat while it was in Croatia. And being a U.S citizen with a U.S flag boat in a foreign country not a lot of people were interested. The tip that we actually got that worked out was from Nick for UNIQUA Insurance and they were super helpful. Easy, it just fell right into place.
