On se raconte tous la même histoire un jour ou l’autre… « J’aurais dû commencer plus tôt. » Trop jeune. Trop vieux. Pas assez d’expérience. Pas assez d’argent. Pas le bon moment. Ces petites phrases deviennent des barrières invisibles qui nous empêchent d’essayer. Pourtant, le seul vrai regret, bien souvent, c’est de ne pas avoir osé. La vérité, c’est qu’il n’existe pas de moment parfait. Il y a juste aujourd’hui. Si on avait attendu d’avoir plus d’argent, plus d’expérience ou d’être « prêts », on ne serait jamais partis vivre sur notre bateau. Si on avait trop écouté les autres, ou cherché à tout prix à rentrer dans la norme, on ne serait jamais partis non plus. On serait probablement restés à rêver de cette vie… sans jamais la vivre. Au lieu de ça, on a décidé de commencer avec les moyens qu’on avait. Au début, c’était seulement quelques semaines par an sur un petit bateau. Puis, petit à petit, on est partis un peu plus longtemps, un peu plus loin, avec un bateau un peu plus grand. Chaque étape nous a appris quelque chose et nous a donné confiance pour la suivante. Aujourd’hui, on vit cette aventure dont on rêvait tant. Et si on avait attendu d’être prêts, elle n’aurait peut-être jamais existé. Alors si tu as un projet qui te fait vibrer, n’attends pas que toutes les conditions soient réunies. Elles ne le seront probablement jamais. Commence avec ce que tu as, là où tu es, avec les moyens que tu as. ⛵ Si ton rêve est de te lancer dans la vie en bateau, on a créé une formation en ligne pour t’apprendre toutes les bases et t’aider à franchir le cap sereinement. 🚀 Et ce n’est que le début ! The Sea Champ 18 was a cool little fishboat we found on display at the Southampton Boat show, and it illustrates a lot of the differences between boats built on this side of the Atlantic, versus those built over there in the UK. Even though it's just 18' it has a pilothouse. But, it still has a ton of fishing room in the open cockpit.
