J109 Going to Red was finding it hard to avoid the Cork 1720's who where sailing a different course with shared marks on the final day of Volvo Cork Week 2024. After ducking one starboard tacker it looked like they were clear until another one flicked over and call STARBOARD. The skipper on the J109 gave him the option to let them cross or get leebowed which would have destroyed both there races. Luckily common sense prevailed and both boats got to separate and finish there separate races. The team at Bottom Up Boats hope you like this short clip from our week of racing at Volvo Cork Week 2024.
