We chose the wine pairing for the meat, of course. There were a lot of ingredients. Almost too many. Technically, it was impressive. The craftsmanship was undeniable. Everything was executed at a very high level. But when I sit at a table like this, I’m always listening for something quieter - a spark, a story, a feeling that stays with you long after the check is paid. Can a high-end performance replace the emotion of a recipe shaped by time and care? It was professional. It was premium. I am sure you know how to tie the Clove Hitch in the Bight, but I'm going to add it to my channel anyway because I remember doing it the first time and it seemed like a magic trick. 🔹 This is a useful quick knot. You know those situations where you jump off onto the dock with a 🌬️ breeze pushing you off and there's no-one there to help? Well, slip one of these clove hitches over a bollard or post and you've got yourself a decent temporary hold.
