Lockdowns are hard for everyone. But imagine being at sea when the destination you’re heading for closes its doors. And in March 2020 that was what happened on Caribbean island of Grenada. Fortunately the Marine & Yachting Association of Grenada saw what was happening and made a proposal to the Ministry of Health to allow yachts to arrive in a Covid safe manner.

So far, we’ve been able to point straight at Grenada down the rhumb line at best speed. Conditions are good, 16 knots of wind and smooth seas. Every day is getting warmer."
