It’s the quiet moments for us… when the water is still, the world slows down, and nothing else really matters 💙 This life isn’t always easy… but moments like this remind us exactly why we chose it. Would you trade normal life for this? ✨ #boatlife #sailinglife #liveaboardlife #boatcats #slowliving
☠️ See if we died! https://youtu.be/ERZZe8F01MY Boats use knots instead of MPH. I mean, usually. While sailing the bahamas in a 47' Vagabond sailboat, we hit speeds up to 8 MPH. Do you know how fast that is in knots??!! I'll tell you! And give you the fascinating history of how sailors calculated speed back when I was a kid in the 1600's. #sailing #boats #shorts Why They're Called Knots https://youtube.com/shorts/CRHR-TSY41c photo credit: By Lokilech - Own work, CC BY-SA 3.0, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=1810012
