we sailed with over 20 knots into a huge wave and even if were flying our smallest and strongest kite, blew up. We are currently saving our two larger but thinner kites not to loose one more similarly as the sea state continues to be rough and we will need them in the long race. We are currently VMG running with our fractional zero that might not be optimal and result temporarily in reduced boat speed. This is normal in a race like this, and our fighting spirit has just gone up. We're looking forward to reaching half way!" The Elan 37 Hindsight made a good recovery after a slow start to chase down the J109 Going to Red a couple of minutes into the racing out of the Quoile Yacht Club. Hindsight gybe shortly after this to split the course with the rest of the fleet, this turned out be a smart move as they headed for the counter tide on the Portaferry shore of Strangford lough. They did not look great early as the rest of the fleet stayed high and in pressure, as the leg went on it became clear that they would lead at the Bottom Mark. Hindsight stretched out to a lead by over over two minutes, GTR fort hard on the next beat to chase the leader down, going on to win the race. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying these short clips of racing action from the 2024 season.

Difficoltà nel trovare un'ormeggio al marina cittadino. L'unico e ultimo ormeggio trovato è stato nella darsena "Marin Borik", che non è costata poco, nonostante i 40 minuti di camminata dal centro città. Zara 19/08/23
