While in Trinidad we've had people recommend a huge range of foods and local dishes to try. Over the last few weeks I've been listening to other cruisers rave about the aloo pie at the Port of Spain Central Market so today I got myself one and I'm SO glad I did! The mix of herbs, spices, potato, chickpeas and everything else stuffed inside the fried bread was delicious. Prepare to take the on-the-water certification in Spring 2024 at https://asa.com/online-class/asa-102/. For the last 40 years, there has been a curious hole in the ASA curriculum, with ASA 101 leading directly into ASA 103. This spring, our schools will start teaching our exciting new course, ASA 102: Keelboat 2. This course is for any sailor interested in building their core sailing skills. This includes becoming more proficient at sail trim and close-quarter maneuvering. It also includes improving your crew skills and working together as a team to make your vessel move more efficiently through the water.
