Still in Cape Town for Day 3. We started the day at the V&A Waterfront Marina; there, we were able to follow the finishing work being done on a Balance 442. This phase, which lasts about 10 days, includes setting the sails, checking the rigging, and finally the Owner's handover after that. Then, we were able to visit the Ullman Sails factory with Tony Strutt. We tried out the ferry service from the Isle of Kererra to Oban. There is a booking system so you know exactly when you will travel which we lovec. Its great value for money and made exploring Oban very easy and stress free. In addition its great if you need supplies from the big Tesco. We would recommend!
