Durch die Yardstick Einteilung hatten wir bei achterlichem Wind mit nur wenig Abdeckung von hinten zu rechnen und konnten so mit der J-97 Monk die Wellen nach Kühlungsborn herunter surfen. Ich sach ma teilweise zweistellig auf dem Tacho. Hat Spaß gemacht.

#katknots The Clove Hitch versus the 🥨 Ground-Line Hitch. Which is your favourite? Both are great for tying fenders to guardrails, the Ground-line is a little more secure, but there's not much in it. 🔸 For both, wind the rope around the rail and cross over diagonally. There is a slight difference where you tuck the working end between the hitches. 🔸 Both knots are easy when you get the hang of them. Day 2 on our Atlantic Crossing. We had very relaxed conditions and were able to unpack our spinnaker again. It's really impressive, especially when there are also some dolphins around 🌊 And we were also rewarded with a bonito, which we used straight away as sushi. Delicious 😋 And it was even so relaxed that we were able to play games.
