While we were onboard the stunning Ferretti 1000 SkyDeck at SIBS, PG took a moment to walk through one of the details owners and captains always appreciate — our Italian-made switching systems. These refined, backlit, low-glare momentary buttons give you complete control of your onboard lighting: • Tap to switch lights on or off • Touch and hold to raise or dim intensity • Multi-zone control for precise lighting scenes • Concealed fixings for a clean, seamless finish It’s subtle, elegant, and engineered to last — the kind of detail that elevates a vessel’s interior and delivers a far more luxurious user experience. For new builds or refits, we always say the same thing: Choose original Italian parts that last, not components that will need replacing in six months. If you want this level of detail on your own vessel, come and speak with the team. https://zurl.co/d0MpB #gineico_marine #quick #quickitaly #quickgyro #quickgyrostabiliser #Yachts #Superyacht #marineaccessories #experience #madeinitaly #virtualshowroom #production #nauticalequipment #accessories #yacht #boat #lifestyle #luxury #elegance #italydesign #gyro #stabilizer #puRO #waterpurification
http://features.boats.com/boat-content/2013/02/torqeedo-deep-blue-makes-award-winning-debut-in-miami/ Torqeedo leaves the 2013 Miami boat show with a NMMA Innovation Award for its Deep Blue electric outboard, which made its North American debut at the event. Deep Blue is a huge leap for the German manufacturer, which has quietly (in every way) been gaining a following in the United States with a line of kicker-size electric propulsion motors up to 4kW (matching the thrust of a 9.9-hp gasoline outboard) that are attractive for use on restricted lakes and for light-duty auxiliary power. The new 60kW (80-hp) Deep Blue is aimed at the commercial market, but the firm is also working with several pleasure-boat builders. The company had the motor rigged on a flats boat and a Zodiac inflatable at Miami.
