Once a year, La Galigo is back in #Bali for a dry dock after a long journey in the #sea. While in dry dock, we conduct maintenance on the whole boat in and out. We give our boat a complete makeover! Starting with cleaning all the barnacles off the hull, then repainting the entire ship. We're also taking care of the engine and making sure the deck and all the rooms are sparkling clean. After a month in Key West, we finally thought we had a 48 hour crossing window to make it to Morgans Bluff. We were wrong...or rather, the forecasts continuously changed -- for the worse. Not unsafe, but just VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. This was not the Gulf Stream Crossing we had last year.
