The insurance we went through probably 15 different insurance agencies looking for someone who would insure the crossing for the Atlantic, insure the boat while it was in Croatia. And being a U.S citizen with a U.S flag boat in a foreign country not a lot of people were interested. The tip that we actually got that worked out was from Nick for UNIQUA Insurance and they were super helpful. Easy, it just fell right into place. Then came the mooring in order to have the insurance we had to have a mooring which meant that we would, we had to go back through and call just about every Marina in Croatia which there's a lot! =========================== ⛵️ ⛵️ Looking to buy a yacht in Croatia? I spent a couple hours looking for some fish to shoot and visibility was really poor but I was lucky enough to find some small neck clams, bagged a few and took them back to my boat to try them. I put a little secret sauce on them, which was Tabasco, lime, fresh garlic and soy sauce. You can see it dripping down my neck! This was the very first time I have ever tried raw clams.
