Welcome to Hydra, a jewel of the Aegean Sea and a must-visit destination for every sailor exploring Greece. This island is known for its unique charm and authenticity, with a car ban. It is a perfect destination for sailors looking for a peaceful escape. But do arrive early. Sailors can find lovely anchorages around in calm weather. The most famous is located approximately a mile east to the port with clear water, perfect for swimming and snorkelling. There aren't facilities and services for boaters in Hydra's port, but still, it is an unforgettable destination for every sailor looking for beauty, history and tranquillity in the heart of the Aegean Sea.
