Life on the coast of Maine can be challenging - rough seas, rugged shoreline, extreme weather. Our vessels are built to withstand everything mother nature can throw at us. When the USGS came to us looking for a survey vessel for their Woods Hole operations, our fabrication division was up to the task, and delivered a vessel built to handle the agency’s important and challenging work. This 26’ aluminum vessel was launched this summer as part of our growing fleet of workboats. Every spring I post a video of the Multihull Centre. This has been my home base since 1982. And every year it seems to get ever more crowded with multihulls. In part of course because they are all much larger than 30 years ago. In this video you can see two Transit 38's, a Gypsy 28 and an Eclipse.
