Now sailing the Mexican Caribbean, this two-level catamaran was designed to host large groups — but also to elevate the experience beyond celebration. Imagine a Pilates session surrounded by open horizon. Breathing with the rhythm of the sea. Moving in balance while floating over turquoise water. Contoy Party is more than an event vessel. It’s a platform for lifestyle at sea. Upper deck energy. Lower deck harmony. Space designed for both vitality and stillness. Built by Servicios Náuticos de México with structural precision and long-term durability in mind, it offers stability, comfort, and presence — allowing every experience onboard to flow naturally. Wellness. Community. Ocean. Contoy Party. Where movement meets the Caribbean. ⚓🌊✨ Video by: Dancer Cruise @dancercruisecancun and @Aretahstudio

How to tie a Double sheet bend. #katknots. ▫️ The double sheet bend joins two ropes of different thicknesses well especially if they are wet. Also known as the double flag bend. Make sure both working ends are on the same side when completed. It's stronger that way. ▫️ Form a bight (loop) with the thicker rope. Keep the end up top. ▫️ Thread the thinner line through the loop as shown and then round behind the thicker rope. ▫️ Pass the working end of the thinner line round the neck of your loop. Then tuck the thinner line back under itself twice. It's quicker but not as strong. ▫️ An example of when you might use this knot: attaching a heaving line to a mooring line so it's easier to throw ashore. ▫️ #multihulls #sailing #catamarans #sailinglife #knots #sailingknots #ropes #bestknots #multihull #knot #boats #yachts #catamaran #rope #instaknots #seamanship #sheetbend #katamarans #flagbend #doublesheetbend

📍If Gypsea Explorer were a human, her sails would be the arms that catch the wind, carrying us through the water. 💨🌊 ✅ We have three sails on our Sceptre 41; a Mainsail, a gib and an asymmetrical spinnaker. They all have different and important functions. 😱 When we went sailing on a little test ride, the Mainsail ripped, so we had to do a quick repair. The fantastic Kelly at Ullman Sails, made us a new Mainsail, and inspected our other sails. The Gib was sent to Bainbridge Island for a good scrubbing.
