Dream Yacht Charter and She Captain organized an event in May at our Stockholm base to help 25 women develop their docking skills. She Captain has 3,000 members and works to build confidence among women sailors by transferring the skills of more experienced women through online support and events, such as flotillas. Sunshine and a steady 6 knots to 8 knots of breeze breeze greeted the competitors for Race 3 of Strangford Lough narrows regatta. GTR has some ground to make up after dropping back to mid fleet. With the angle free but not free enough to fly the spinnaker it was the perfect moment to deploy the Code Zero. With the both sails set and trimmed in GTR was doing two to one over its nearest rivals which allowed them to eat into the lead and eventually take the race win.
