15 days. And then I leave all of this behind. The boat work. The endless to-do lists. The invoices that somehow keep finding me. The things that break immediately after we fix something else. 😂 Hopefully, I leave the problems behind too. Because after September 6, there isn't really anything else I can do. Whatever is done, is done. No more boatyards. No more running around trying to find parts. No more preparing to sail around the world. I'll actually be sailing around the world. Just me, the sea, and my faithful Showgirl. And honestly? After everything it has taken to get us here, I think I'm ready for life to become that simple. 15 days. Then the real adventure begins. 🌊 ⚓ Life on the Showgirl is my journey toward one of the toughest solo sailing races on the planet: the Golden Globe Race — sailed solo, non-stop, and without modern technology. Follow along as I learn, prepare, and chase a dream that feels bigger than me. ------------------------------------------ New videos EVERY 7th of the month ------------------------------------------ EXCLUSIVE CONTENT!!: https://www.patreon.com/classicmara ------------------------------------------ Follow Mara: https://www.instagram.com/classicmara_/ __________________________ Support me: PayPal: https://www.paypal.me/helgamarielk Vipps: 39088 - Classic Mara Venmo: https://account.venmo.com/u/griedy1 GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/173a9a5e6 Buy Me a Coffe: https://buymeacoffee.com/classicmara __________________________ Affiliate links: Dakota Lithium Batteries: https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=79634&awinaffid=2732466&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dakotalithium.com Orca Navigation System: https://getorca.com/?via=classicmara PitViper: https://www.pitviper.com/discount/CLASSICMARA?redirect=%2F&utm_campaign=money%2Bcounters&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_source=upfluence

UBI Maior’s JB Jiber works without the usual aluminium extruded foil. Instead, the forestay is linked to the drum and swivel and rotates to furl the sail. It means that the sail can be hoisted up and down and the halyard tension can be adjusted at any time.

Springing from the eye-catching FD85, the new Horizon FD87 Skyline retains many of the FD85’s unique features, including the expansive 23’3” beam, spacious on-deck Master with four guest staterooms and two crew cabins below deck, and stunning floor-to-ceiling windows in the salon. In place of the raised pilothouse in the FD85, the FD87 Skyline boasts a fully enclosed bridge with access to a Portuguese walkway leading forward to the bow and an inviting seating area. A newly popular design for the U.S. market, the FD87 Skyline also features a spacious beach club and swim platform aft, which provides a perfect spot for relaxing close to the water or enjoying watersports activities. Additionally, the FD87 offers a new bow design called the “High Performance Piercing Bow” (HPPB), which saw across-the-board hydrodynamic improvements in both tank and CFD testing. While alternative bow designs that feature protrusions work more efficiently at either high or slower speeds, the HPPB brings both efficiency at slower speeds and performance at higher speeds.
