Shortly after the start of Race 2 of the 2024 Narrow Regatta the J109 going to read was shown a clean pair of heals from a rampaging VX1 that glided by to leeward with speed. The further the VX1 punched out into the middle of the narrows the more left to right of tide she picked up, allowed her to put and and front and disappear do the the race track.
