It's probably one of the projects we've gotten the most comments/questions about in the build so far, so I know so many of you have been really looking forward to this one. As you might already know, we've decided to go with spray foam for the majority of the hull for several reasons which we break down for you in the video. The process is VERY interesting and VERY messy, and ended up taking an extra day to get it all done perfectly, and then of course the clean up process was a massive undertaking in and of itself. Race One of the annual narrows series on Strangford Lough got under way under cloudy skies with a moderate breeze GTR worked to leeward of its main competitors before hitting the pin with speed which allowed them to punch out into the stronger tide which helped the leewbow the three boats to windward of them. It did not take long for them to cast a wind shadow on the boats to windward of them allowing them to put the bow down and race off towards mark 1 in the lead..
