Yay. We are finally setting sail from West Palm Beach to Grand Bahama Island in Northern Bahamas. We managed to get our paper to leave the US stamped at the airport, received our Covid negative test results, applied to the Bahamas Health Visa, got accepted and paid for it. We only have 5 days from the date of testing to get to the Bahamas so that's why we're leaving tonight. The wind is going to be light but hopefully we get a little more. Is it crazy to buy an old boat with no clue about sailing? MAYBE A LITTLE :) But hey, I do love a good challenge! I will make my skippers ticket and learn how to sial, learn how to fix up this old girls and maybe one day sail her around australia. I've already learned so much and met so many amazing peole.
