From theory to practice ⚓️✨ One of our students Andreas from Switzerland , (position to be added) just completed both the Sailing Theory Course *and* the Sailing School with us — and hearing their words after the journey means the world. He began online, learning the foundations step by step. Later, he joined us on deck — setting sails, navigating, and discovering the rhythm of real life at sea. 🌊 It’s a journey of patience, courage, and new skills coming alive with each mile. These stories remind me why I love teaching. Watching someone grow from curious beginner to confident sailor is pure magic. ⚓️ Ready to start your own journey? Our next Theory Course begins September 2025, and the next Practice Week takes place November 1–8, 2025 in Mallorca.

► X5 PLUS - Ready to take you... wherever you want to go ► Derived directly from the X5, the Plus retains an unconventional silhouette that may dissuade some from going beyond appearances... but that would be a shame: those frightened off would be missing out on a beautiful cruising machine with intelligent specifications. This new model benefits from the experience gained during 6 years of the X5: the bows have been modified, the displacement is lighter by two tons, the sail plan has increased in area and the equipment is even more complete. The X5 Plus is perfectly suited to the cruising families that have chosen it. Rigorous design by a team of experienced sailors (the seas off South Africa are an excellent learning environment), meticulous construction, exemplary deck plan, abundant and perfectly functional equipment, remarkable overall quality of execution, tempered glass skylights: these are the strong points of this catamaran that deserves to be recognized. ► TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Builder: Xquisite Yachts Naval architect: Rudolf Jonker Length: 50’8” (15.44 m) Beam: 26’3” (8 m) Draft: 4’5” (1.35 m) Displacement: 36,375 lbs (16.5 t) Mainsail: 1,130 sq ft (105 m²) Jib: 420 sq ft (39 m²) Genoa: 700 sq ft (65 m²) Gennaker: 1,400 sq ft (130 m²) Engines: 2 x 80 HP ► Become a FREE SUBSCRIBER to Multihulls World's YouTube page now - https://www.youtube.com/c/MultihullsWorld ► Log on to our website to discover over 500 multihulls tests! We visit Mt. Airy, NC and find ourselves in another time and place. Walking the streets and talking to the locals is the best part of visiting this town and it doesn't take long to realize where the idea for Mayberry came about. Mt. Airy is a place where there are no strangers and there is never a dull moment.
