A quick highlight from our recent trip to Riga, Latvia 🇱🇻, where Katia went behind the scenes at Latitude Yachts to see the LANIAKEA 88’ power catamaran taking shape. This is one of those milestones that never gets old — the moment the hull comes out of the mould and the project suddenly feels real. In the full film, Katia meets the team, walks you through key elements of the build, and shares some of the construction techniques that make a huge difference to strength, finish, and long-term quality. With much care and attention, the hull of the Stadtship 56 was turned. This is always a special moment for both us and the owners. It remains a beautiful sight to see the huge aluminium construction dangling in just a few slings and being carefully turned over.

🇬🇧Gradually, at my own tempo, I dare to sail more and more with more wind. Keep practising, daring, believing that one day I will be ready to discover the world with La Belle Bleu. Solo and together with my little family, we are making progress and it feels great! They too have now been infected with the sailing virus and want to join us one day. I am looking forward to that immensely! FYI: I use the sailprooftablet as my plotter outside. A great buddy who works perfect even with sun on it and rain!!
