The Elan Hindsight stretched out to a lead over over two minutes at the first mark during racing at the Quoile Yacht Club 2 Day Event after a great decision to gybe away from the fleet to head over to the Portaferry shoreline to get relief from the tide. The team on J109 Going to Red worked hard up the first beat to close the gap before gliding by into the lead with a textbook leebow about half way to the second racing mark. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying these short clips of racing action from the 2024 season.

Asked to comment on the assertion from Grant Dalton, CEO of Emirates Team New Zealand that he thought Luna Rossa were ahead of the other Challengers, Max responded: “I think it's hard to tell where you are compared to the other teams, I mean the fact you are not able to line up, yes sometime we are doing some crossing tacks but when we are doing that you're doing like a 10 mile beat so it's almost impossible to get any feedback in terms of performance.
