In order to get our sailboat home ready to explore the Caribbean Sea it was time to reinstall the genoa sail! Nicknamed "the dummy sail" on our boat, it's the easiest of our sails to use, able to be operated by one person back in the helm of our Leopard 45 catamaran, and used in a wide range of wind conditions. A short video of our Race on 23-01-19 on Moreton Bay, winds to 25knots. We hit our speed record of 20.5 knots unfortunately we only recorded 20.2.... Great fun also some footage of our tacking duel with Seraya - a fast mono hull. We were doing 11.5 knots upwind... then we screwed up our spinnaker run - such is life. Thanklsfully I didn't reoced that disaster! Haha.
