To find south using the constellation Orion, locate Orion's Belt and the small vertical line of stars hanging from it called Orion's Sword. This is Pink Beach, Komodo! This exceptional beach gets its striking colour from microscopic animals called Foraminifera, which produces a red pigment on the coral reefs. This is why it’s called Red Beach (Pantai Merah) in the local tongue.
