Northsails was created in 1957 at the hands of Lowell North, a sailor and Olympic yachtsman who felt a special passion for the ocean. Since then, we’ve paid tribute to the sea. Because we know that by protecting our oceans, we are protecting our future. The campaign has been divided into 3 chapters, each starring a different celebrity. Each chapter addresses this devotion to the sea from a different perspective: the first-person discovery of the conflict surrounding marine pollution, an inspiring ecological project and finally, an ode to the sea.

My watertank fills up in no time, courtesy of Mother Nature's generous downpour. But the real surprise? Take a look at my dinghy – it's transformed into a mini bathtub, brimming with rainwater! As I watch the rain cascade down, I can't help but marvel at the abundance of water surrounding me. Despite the soggy conditions, there's a sense of wonder and gratitude for nature's bounty. De hemel heeft zich geopend boven het ankergebied en alles wordt doorweekt. Mijn watertank vult zich in een mum van tijd, dankzij de overvloedige stortbui van Moeder Natuur. Maar de echte verrassing? Kijk eens naar mijn dinghy - die is veranderd in een klein badkuipje, vol met regenwater! Terwijl ik de regen naar beneden zie stromen, kan ik niet anders dan verwonderd zijn over de overvloed aan water om me heen. Ondanks de natte omstandigheden, is er een gevoel van verwondering en dankbaarheid voor de overvloed van de natuur. How to Visit the Pool in the San Blas Islands? Due to the distance that separates it from mainland and the landing strip, reaching the famous Pool in the outer Cays of San Blas and what can be considered Paradise within Paradise, is only recommended for 5 or more nights yacht charters. The Pool, which lies in Eastern Dutch Cays or Cayos Holandeses and South of Turtle island, is the furthest island from mainland and due to this has the clearest water visibility throughout the year. With no rivers close by and unperturbed crystal clear waters, the Pool remains best snorkeling area in San Blas Other activities in which to engage while at the Pool and that are included in our all inclusive catamaran trips, are kayaking and paddleboarding to the nearby mangroves, swimming or plane relaxin onboard.
