Delivered in 2018 by @oceancoyacht, she features exterior lines by @nuvolarilenard in collaboration with @kenfreivokhdesign. Undoubtedly one of the most iconic and technologically advanced sailing yacht, BLACK PEARL is instantly recognisable by her three DynaRig masts standing 70.6m tall. Key features include her nearly 3,000 sqm of sail deployed in under 7 minutes, with solar panels integrated into the sails and a hybrid propulsion system designed to allow regenerative power under sail. 5 days of adventure, challenges, and teamwork! Not a lot of wind for the most part but the little we got made for some amazing sailing at times. Out to Moturekareka island, on out to Great Barrier for 2 nights before a magical night sail back to Motutapu for the last night. The lads then took charge of the yacht on the last day, and sailed us safely home. Knot work, Raft building, beach games and a huge beach clean up at Rangiwhakea Bay. Well done team!
