This is one of those milestones that never gets old — the moment the hull comes out of the mould and the project suddenly feels real. From our Komodo to East of Flores Cruise in September/October 2014. Castle Rock in the North of the Komodo National Park performed perfectly. Just at the start of a slack between tides, we went down and were met by large schools of fusiliers encircling us at about 10 m depth. My answer is YES and here are my three top tips for taking a baby on board a sailing holiday. #1 Paddling pool. Paddling pools are so useful. You can put them in the cockpit while you're underway. Baby is safe, entertained and happy. It's amazing. #2 Wear baby. So I actually wear my daughter in a wrap and when we're underway it's an amazing way for her (a) to feel safe, for me for her to feel safe. And also for her to feel comfortable go to sleep and my hands are free. #3 is a chair that actually clips on to the table. You can take it with you downstairs, upstairs, have it at the restaurants it's portable and incredible and amazing to take baby with you wherever you go.
