During her current voyage around the globe, the Amels yacht PLVS VLTRA called at the Society Islands archipelago in French Polynesia, finding clear blue water lagoons to soak up the very best of South Pacific yachting. PLVS VLTRA is the first Amels 242 from the Amels Limited Editions range. She is 74 metres in length (242 ft) with a Tim Heywood exterior design and Winch Design interiors. Amels delivered PLVS VLTRA in 2016 with Moran Yacht & Ship representing the owner. Captain Simon Truelove, who was also build captain, has navigated the private yacht over 38,000 miles in two years. Dicen que ceñir es de pobres y seguramente lo será. Pero cuando uno nace así, le gustan las sensaciones fuertes y la ceñida es la emoción de la vela. Unos buenos bordos en ceñida, o una buena estrategia para llegar del punto A al punto B, son a mi entender el secreto de una buena navegación a vela. Quizás sea el motivo por el que me gusta navegar.
