Jimmy Spithill was onboard the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli AC40 and gave a terrific summary after sailing, commenting on the swell and sea-state, saying: “I think it's really just getting used to the conditions. I mean the thing I've noticed, and I haven't done a lot of time here, is just how affected it is by ocean swell and waves. I mean today is a classic example if you go quite a bit further north up the coast there’s a really big mistral blowing and Barcelona just sort of gets the remnants from either what's happening north or what's happening to the south, so you get a lot of cross axis waves, and it makes it really interesting. The servo is hooked up to the Arduino via pin 9. I've uploaded one of the example sketches you get with Arduino ISP called 'Servo Sweep'. The servo is powered by a 24 volt rough DC supply as you can see in the video. The 20mm steel boss was machined and bored out concentrically to 8.0 mm. A 5.0 mm hole was drilled in the side of the boss and tapped to take an M6 grub screw. The boss was welded into a piece of 1/8 inch steel plate to make the servo arm.
