Today Nala got to meet a falcon 🦅🐾 We’ll share a bit more of the story soon and explain how we ended up having a falcon on board for almost two weeks 😄 In the meantime, Nala spent quite a while watching it from a safe distance, trying to figure out exactly what kind of creature it was. It was all plan sailing until the skipper forgot to duck. The speed at which the boom crosses the boat during a gybe makes it a dangerous weapon. This video should be a reminder to everyone to stay safe and to remember to duck when gybing a boat. Luckily no one was hurt other than the skippers pride, he dusted himself off and raced on.
