Harry bakes his famous gingerbread cookies while on a sail and shares them with his family. They are delicious and warm and he loves baking them! INGREDIENTS 125g butter, softened 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup Golden Syrup 1 egg yolk 2 1/2 cups plain flour 1tbsp Powdered Ginger 1tsp mixed spice 1tsp bicarb of soda METHOD 1. Preheat oven 180 degrees ( 160 fan forced) 2. Cream butter and sugar using electric beater 3. Add egg yolk and golden syrup and mix 4. Add flour , ginger, mixed spice and bicarb and combine 5. Roll into a ball and leave in fridge for 20mins 6. roll out dough between 2 pieces of baking paper 7. cut lots of shapes out using cookie cutters, we use gingerbread men, hearts and a star! 8. Bake in oven for 8-10mins. less if you want soft cookies and longer of you like them hard. 9. Once baked let cool for 10mins on tray then move to cooling rack 10. Shortly after the start of Race 2 of the 2024 Narrows Regatta on Strangford Lough in Northern Ireland the lead boats were in close contact with several boats as everyone positioned for the strongest tide to push them into the main part of the lough. The J109 Going to Red was heading to the not sure if they would cross into the lead on port tack and tack the lead. They toyed with a tack to setup a leebow to take the lead, with the boat speed building quickly it was not needed as they slipped into the lead on port tack. The team at bottom up boats how you are enjoying the footage from the 2024 season, with the days getting longer it will not be long until the boat is back in the water and we can start making more memories from the 2025 racing.
