We went freediving and snorkeling one afternoon off of Shell Beach in La Jolla, California. The water was above 70 degrees which is amazing for California. Snorkeling around "Seal Rock" is the best place in San Diego to find these Harbor seals. Google map link below. https://goo.gl/maps/8LVHVvRLTw22

While out with Cascadia Research looking for toothed whales, we came across this incredible animal! Approx 22' long whale shark off the coast of Kauai.
