È un periodo di fuoco e in questi ultimi due giorni non ho potuto fare a meno di pensare che ci stiamo perdendo il tempo. Non mi riferisco al visitare i posti o fare i turisti, quanto più a essere qui con mente e corpo, essere presenti. I pensieri invece volano sempre verso isole lontane, dove le responsabilità e il vortice lavorativo assorbono ogni cosa. Stasera durante il tramonto è accaduta una cosa che non capitava da un po’. Andre ha preso il piano e io mi sono sdraiata accanto a lui ad ascoltarlo. Di nuovo guardando il cielo ho potuto sentire quanto quel momento fosse di valore, quanto fosse importante. Respiriamo aria pulita, viviamo a contatto con la natura, abbiamo una fortuna indescrivibile, eppure è così facile dimenticarsi di guardare il cielo. Stasera tutto si è riallineato nuovamente, abbiamo parlato, ci siamo tenuti la mano, abbiamo aggiunto un tassello piccolo ma importante in questa routine che attraversa la felicita. Perché la felicità può spaventare e imparare ad accoglierla fa parte di un percorso coraggioso. Noi siamo qui, oggi. Tanta strada già percorsa, altrettanta (e oltre) da scoprire insieme. We stopped on over to Long Island from George Town, Bahamas for a few days. We anchored out in Thompson Bay, near Salt Pond. There's a dinghy dock that is privately owned north of the Government Dock. We've been told that the owners are very gracious to allow cruisers to use it...and we agree. It's super nice. Just outside of the fence, there are some garbage cans for garbage. I forget about the exact name of the street, but I learned it's named after the family that owns the property nearby, Basil. Take a right on Queens Highway and the Farmer's Market is on the right. Perhaps a quarter mile down the road. We bought Long Island Salt, Long Island Pepper Salt, Hot Sauce, Fresh Dill, Fresh Basil and Zucchini Bread. Encore une fois la rivière Giscle est sortie violement de son lit et à causer beaucoup de dégâts sur le village de Port Cogolin.
