It was tight racing between the top two boats shortly after the start of the 2026 KYC Regatta. The team on GTR went for the kite early on a tight first reach to jump from third to second before heading down the lough on a square run to number 10. The original 1998 chainplates have been ground out of the fiberglass on my Island Packet 320.
