Sailing a Strike 18 trimaran by Woods Designs. Video was taken on its second sail before fitting the trampolines and deck cushions. You can build this boat yourself in plywood. I also have a smaller Strike 16 and a more performance oriented Strike 15. As well as dozens of other multihull designs, both power and sail, that you can build. GTFO plan - Our 1984 Catalina 30' under sail There is no better feeling than flying with the wind on a sailboat! This is a short clip from our current "practice" boat. We currently own a 1984 Catalina 30’ monohull sailboat on the Chesapeake Bay. This is our practice boat and is not designed for the open ocean and too small for full-time, liveaboard life. Our future boat will be a Neel 51' trimaran! We want to share our GTFO plan of retiring early to explore the world. We plan to retire June 1, 2023, Dennis’s mandatory retirement date when he will have served 30 years in the Army. We plan to buy a Neel 51’ trimaran (http://www.neel-trimarans.com/modele_bateau/neel-51/). A trimaran is much safer than a catamaran, more comfortable than a monohull, faster to escape bad weather, and spacious to accommodate our Brady Bunch, and possibly you! We plan to name her Just a Kiss which describes our wonderful 2nd date back in 2015. Learn with us as we prepare to GTFO and sail the world! Kisses, Ann & Dennis

The Persico Fly40 experience: a new-concept class and circuit The future of owner-racer racing is here: Persico Marine has transferred its America's Cup experience to a 12-metre foiler designed for a 5-person crew. Checco Bruni has been a key project advisor and ambassador; Caponnetto Hueber, together with New Zealand-based Pure Design & Engineering, are the designers.

This is Pink Beach, Komodo! This exceptional beach gets its striking colour from microscopic animals called Foraminifera, which produces a red pigment on the coral reefs. This is why it’s called Red Beach (Pantai Merah) in the local tongue. When the tiny fragments of red coral combine with the white sand, it produces the soft pink colour that is visible along the shoreline. ~~~ #pinkbeach #komodonationalpark #komodoisland #komodo #liveaboard
