Our new cruising yacht Viator Explorer 42 DS has 2x10KW electric motors as propulsion. Those motors can be used as hydrogenerators when sailing. We are testing this feature in this short video. The maximum output is about 21A, which equals about 1KW. But it is still very volatile, so we have to optimize the regeneration process. 35mm thick carbon QI plate infusion for a 68' cruising yacht. The video on the left is shot from above and the right is shot from the bottom. It took 55 minutes to infuse 88 layers of 400gsm carbon.
