Estivemos em Porto Alegre, visitamos alguns veleiros à venda e também alguns lugares onde a enchente não perdoou! Como muitos sabem, nós fomos na época ajudar como podíamos e o que vivenciamos não tem como demonstrar, por outro lado, a cidade já está voltando ao normal, nossos amigos da loja Ligarte e no Iate Clube Guaíba, onde foi toda a operação que ficamos nos consertos para os resgates, está precisando de uma ajuda para reerguer como a pintura, sob nova gestão, o clube agora está com foco nas atividades infante juvenis e várias modalidades da vela! The first week for the season ending frosties regatta at SLYC was sailed under grey skies with big breeze. The crew on GTR went with a reef in the main to make the boat easier to control with the wind gusting over 20 knots. The mainsheet main and job trimmer really got in sync up the second beat which allowed the skipper to put the bow done and get the boat speed over 7 knots. The team on GTR showed the rest of the fleet a clean pair of heels to take two bullets to get off to a flying start on race day 1.
