Efter veckor av konstant gung, sjösjuka och alla möjliga läckage och problem känns det helt magiskt att vara framme och få känna mark under fötterna igen. När vi seglade fem dygn från Gibraltar till Kanarieöarna var vi så otroligt taggade på att komma i land att vi tog jollen in redan första timmen efter ankring. Det slutade med att jag blev rejält landyr. Som sjösjuka, fast på land. Inte jätteroligt! Så efter det har vi provat något annat: att inte gå i land direkt. Och vilken skillnad! När vi kom till Nuku Hiva ankrade vi och låg på svaj i 17 timmar innan vi tog jollen in. Att gå från Stilla-havet-gung till det lugna svajet gav kroppen tid att vänja sig. Resultatet blev mycket mindre landyr och en betydligt snällare omställning. Benen och höfterna är fortfarande lite ovana efter alla rörelser, och både jag och Niklas har lite träningsverk efter första promenaden men det blir bättre för varje dag som går. 🙌 Så här kommer mitt bästa tips till dig som planerar långsegling: Ligg på svaj både innan du ger dig av och när du kommit fram.
