Wir bestehen historisch aus zwei Vereinen, der StSG Stuttgart und der StSG Tübingen, da es an beiden Universitäten jeweils eine Hochschulsportgruppe gab und gibt. Besonderer Schwerpunkt wird auf die Segelausbildung in Form von Theorie und Praxis gelegt. Der Verein ist Plattform für gemeinsame Segelerlebnisse und einen Erfahrungsaustausch. Ob Schnupperwochenende oder Segelausfahrt zu den norditalienischen Seen – auf dem Programm stehen viele Aktivitäten.
