In this video we show how to stop leech flutter in a genoa by tightening the leech line. The tightening mechanism may vary from sail to sail, but the principle is the same. Tighten the leech line until the sail stops fluttering, but not so much as to cause a hook in the leech. We've done one or two of these before in different places. You just let others know it's happening and go sit out in the anchorage for people to show up. Bring snacks and drinks and hang out. We learned a couple of things: There is good snorkeling/diving on the other end of the anchorage. There is a boat here that converted their engines to full electric and we can go visit it to hear what they did. And we got a ton of information on places we might sail to next year including Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Put one together, always a good time!
