Prima Roberto, poi Renato e Silvia, poi ancora Giorgia ed Enrico. Una rete di nomi che fino a oggi erano dei contatti su un social e adesso sono diventate ai nostri occhi persone in carne e ossa. È una cosa normalissima, eppure non così scontata. Noi ogni giorno registriamo brevi istantanee della nostra giornata, a volte condividiamo riflessioni, impacchettiamo tutto in un reel e lo lanciamo nella rete social, proprio come facevamo con i messaggi in bottiglia virtuali che inviavamo durante le traversate atlantiche. Non sappiamo chi vedrà, chi leggerà, chi osserverà senza lasciare traccia (👀), chi conoscerà poco per volta una parte di noi, della nostra vita, del nostro viaggio. È sempre bello quando si va oltre allo schermo e oggi ci abbiamo pensato in più occasioni. A 100 di questi incontri 🥂 Per tornare con i piedi per terra, oggi ci siamo dedicati alla barca. Una profonda pulizia alla coperta era più che doverosa e adesso Julia è tornata ad avere un tono. Volete sapere una cosa? How to tie a super charged reef knot: the Simple Simon #knots #sailing. Form a bight (loop) and then the easiest way of remembering it is to just use the opposite to the Bowline trick. You know the drill with the rabbit, but backwards ... Down the hole with the working end, round and then back up again. 🔹 This knot is more secure than a reef knot and does not become loose and unravel if it gets jerked around. It also works well with different sized ropes and slippy synthetic, something the Reef can't really claim to do. 🔹 A good one for your Knot Arsenal is the Simon.

On 12th januar 2015 the new HM830 takes test flights to compare with its twin 8broken and repaired) brother. Now that I achieved some experience with the older one, flying should be easy right? Well, it was, but as always, holding the camera and controlling is not easy at all!! Average flight times passed 2 minutes, promised!! Shortest video, now with battery a bit low, so I moved the paper forth to have a bit of extra lift with CG more on the back, and it flew kinda fine... It gets out of camera but nothing special. Afterwards, the common spin, so frequent in the HM830, but helped with a funny crosswind...
