Aujourd'hui pour Louis c'est un problème de barre de liaison de safran ( un tube que relie les deux safrans pour les faire fonctionner ensemble). Today for Louis it's a problem with the rudder linkage (a tube that connects the two rudders to make them work together). David Payne of the Australian National Maritime Museum gives us some more inspiration for Australian Sailing Hall of Fame nominations. Today he shows us around Taipan, the 18 foot skiff designed and raced by Bob Miller. Miller, who was later known as Ben Lexcen, used many of the design principles seen in Taipan on the successful Australia II.
