This has existed in various forms on several hulls. What is shown is this video is from “Umbono”, hull 20. It is very sleek and blend in with the lines of the solar arch shown earlier. A lovely example is in this video of a Merry Fisher inboard weekend cruiser. She is shaft driven tunning a single three-blade propellor. The inboard diesel boats were phased out replaced by outboard motor versions. Although the outboard version was a totally different hull shape, faster and quieter the inboard boat still has a great following on the used boat market.
