Happy 1st of December! 🌟 We’re kicking off our Christmas calendar with a tour of the salon, the heart of our boat, Vela. ❤️ This space is so much more than just a room: ➡️ On the port side, our cozy settee transforms into a dining room, office, or even a nap spot during passages. 🛋️💤 ➡️ On the starboard side, we have two lounge chairs with a hidden drinks locker in the middle—perfect for those sailing sundowners. 🍹 ➡️ The salon also holds tons of storage, but we’ll dive into that in a later episode! 🚪 It’s the first room you step into when you come aboard, and it’s where we live, work, eat, relax, and more. The corian countertops are going in and it's going to change the look and feel of the boat COMPLETELY. Not just in the galley, but in the heads and cabins too. These are the kinds of finishing details that make such a big impact, taking it from construction site into a proper home. But as exciting as it is, there's also a lot on the line here. It's been months of planning, measuring, and making thousands of tiny decisions....and now all those decisions are about to come to fruition, and we're about to find out if the pieces of the puzzle will actually fit together, or if it's time to go back to the drawing board.
