Olympic Yacht Show 2025 Η 5η διοργάνωση της κορυφαίας έκθεσης σκαφών στην Ελλάδα ολοκληρώθηκε με μεγάλη επιτυχία 9-12 Οκτωβρίου 2025, στην Olympic Marine, στο Λαύριο. Σε κλίμα γιορτής και ενθουσιασμού, περισσότεροι από 25.000 επισκέπτες είχαν την ευκαιρία να απολαύσουν 140 σκάφη μέσα στο νερό, 400 luxury brands, πολλές πρεμιέρες σκαφών και παράλληλα events, ενώ η αύξηση του αριθμού των ξένων επισκεπτών και η συμμετοχή διεθνών key players της βιομηχανίας του yachting ενίσχυσε ακόμα περισσότερο τη διεθνή ταυτότητα της έκθεσης. Επαναπροσδιορίζοντας τα standards της εγχώριας εκθεσιακής εμπειρίας, το Olympic Yacht Show δίνει έμφαση στην ποιότητα, την αισθητική, την καινοτομία και την ουσιαστική επαγγελματική δικτύωση, σε ένα event-σημείο αναφοράς για τους επαγγελματίες και τους λάτρεις της θάλασσας, που συμβάλει στην ανάπτυξη του θαλάσσιου τουρισμού στην Ελλάδα και στην προβολή της χώρας ως κορυφαίο προορισμό Yachting στον κόσμο. This one did not go to plan. Rather than follow the crowd and go along with the Sail to Indonesia Rally fleet to Banda Nera, we intended to day hop along a series of islands from Kei Kecil to explore the remote and seldom visited northern coast of Seram in north western Indonesia but the weather didn’t play the game. After a first night stop at Pulau Kur where we were unexpectedly met by machete wielding youths, we struck out north for a short passage to an island where we had identified three likely looking anchorages. Unfortunately the wind and swell conspired against us making all of them untenable, so we elected to sail on through the night to a Plan B but, when it and then Plan C also didn’t work out, we were forced into coming up with a plan D. When we did finally find shelter add in getting summoned by local officials and having Police onboard and this episode makes for an interesting tale. We hope you enjoy it.
