In this video, I take my dog on his very first flight in a small airplane — and it was an unforgettable day. We flew from our local airport to a quiet grass runway in the countryside, the perfect destination for a peaceful hike. This was my dog's first time flying in a general aviation aircraft, and he handled it like a pro. Flying with pets is one of the best parts of being a private pilot, and today’s aviation adventure reminded me why I love it so much. From takeoff to touchdown, this flight had everything I enjoy about recreational flying — great weather, smooth air, and a four-legged co-pilot riding shotgun. Whether you're a fan of aviation content, dog adventures, or just enjoy relaxing pilot vlogs, I hope you enjoy this glimpse into a simple but meaningful trip. ✈️ Aircraft: [Insert your airplane model] 📍 Destination: Grass runway near [optional location] 🐾 Co-Pilot: Dog’s first flight — and definitely not the last If you're into flying dogs, grass strip landings, VFR cross-country flights, or life as a general aviation pilot, consider hitting that like button and subscribing for more! 👉 Subscribe for more flying adventures: [Your Channel Link] 📸 Follow me on Instagram: [Your IG Handle] #FlyingWithMyDog #DogFirstFlight #GrassRunwayLanding #GeneralAviation #SmallPlaneLife #PilotVlog #FlyingWithPets #PrivatePilot #AviationAdventure #RecreationalFlying #VFRFlight #DogLovers #AviationLifestyle #PilotLife #GrassStrip

If you like this quick preview and want to learn more the link below has a full video tutorial on how to Gybe your A-Sail on the outside in any wind conditions. https://youtu.be/izvjlOoak8Y An A-Sail can also been know as an Asymmetrical Spinnaker, regardless of what you call it the skills need to gybe on on the inside are the same. Being able to gybe the A-Sail effectively on the inside you limit the travel the sheets need to tack reducing the time it takes to gybe the sail which limits the loss of boats speed while reducing the likelihood of tangles. If you are sailing a boat with a short bow sprit it can be safer to gybe your A-Sail on the outside, this reducing the risk of getting a messy and time consuming forestay wrap. If you need to master this skill you can learn how in one of our earlier bottom up boats videos. https://youtu.be/I6NPfpa_V_E The team at bottom up boats hope you enjoys the speed session crew demonstration. With a little bit of practise and every crew member knowing they role you will be gybing like pros in no time.
