#6 Montafon Banked Slalom presented by DEELUXE March 19th, 2016 • Gargellen, Austria It’s banked time again!! Ladies and gentlemen, we have the pleasure to announce the up and coming 6th edition of the Montafon Banked Slalom. Like the past years, it will take place in the beautiful so called « Banked Town », Gargellen, deep in the Montafon valley, west wild part of Austria. On Saturday, March 19th, the race format will welcome 150 racers in the (in)famous « Barrel gully » which will burn legs for two fired up runs. After a day of hot berm shredding, we will gather around live bands at the bottom of the resort to celebrate the fastest racers during the prize giving. Online registration starts Sunday, March 6th, 20:00!!! - first come, first serve!!! The way that I'm going to show you today is a safe way to do it; it will hold. First, take a full wrap around the cleat. Then criss cross it twice. Finally, turn the line in your hand so it wraps over top of itself, and pull it tight, once on either side. There you go! That will not come loose.
