50 + knots of wind guts (10 bf) in first autumn storm. We even measured 56 knots (11 bf). We are tied to 12 lines to the dock. it's a lot of wind, it looks like we are sailing so much we heal.

Una limpida giornata d'Agosto con rotta verso le secche della Meloria con vista sull'isola di Gorgona, ma il video non rende bene, la giornata era talmente limpida da intravedere sia la Corsica che l'isola di Capraia. video realizzato in mattinata con assenza di vento (patana), al contrario nel pomeriggio i veleggianti che non avevano mai toccato il timone si sono divertiti a far letteralmente volare la barca sull'acqua grazie ad un vento fino a 16 nodi. Happy Holidays Everyone! For the first time in many years we are off Calico Skies for the holiday season. We flew from Phoenix to NYC to clear and old storage unit and then drove down to Charlotte to spend the holidays with Bill's family. For New Year's Eve we will be in Breckenridge CO and then finally back to Mexico to get Calico ready for another season of cruising!
